as the situation in bali was rather critical, luggage had to be checked and safely locked by special offices in advanced on all flights from australia, as they worried about fake drug smuggling offences, we were put off of going there and decided to fly to bangkok instead. we didn't even have to pay anything extra, as we took bangkok as a stopover on the flight to europe. it felt like coming home, as we've been to bangkok 5 times and felt so well in this fascinating city!

but bali is cheap to fly to - so am sure we'll make it there sometime ;)

will d'situation in bali ziemlich kritisch gsi isch wo mir hetted sölle döt here flüge, s'gepäck uf flüg vo australie uf bali im vornherein vo spezielle amtsstelle het müesse prüeft und versieglet werde (wege falsche droge-schmuggel-aschuldigunge) het's üs nümm gad agmacht zum döt here. drum hemmer üs entschiede zum stattdesse nomol uf bangkok z'flüge (was üs nünt gkoschtet het, mer hend eifach de zwüschestopp uf em heiflug verleit). die ziit döt hemmer mega gnosse, isch halt gsi wie "hei cho", noch 5 mol döte sii in dere faszinierende stadt.

zum uf bali flüge isch jo nid so tür, so gömmer sicher mol no döt here :)
